Heat Pump System Sizing and Selection

| In-Person Training in Portland; NO COST |

Choose the right heat pump — confidently and accurately.

Overview

Length: 4 Hours

Properly selecting a heat pump system goes beyond load calculations.

It requires a nuanced understanding of how to apply those calculations in selecting the right equipment — especially in the context of variable speed heat pumps.

This interactive, in-person training is designed to give HVAC professionals and energy efficiency practitioners a practical grounding in heat pump system selection. Building on principles from prior HVAC sizing training (e.g., Heating & Cooling Load Calculations), this course focuses specifically on applying load calculations to match equipment selection and performance criteria for heat pumps.

Why Attend?
  • Build confidence in proper system selection to increase comfort and energy savings.
  • Avoid common equipment selection errors that can compromise system performance.
  • Earn continuing education credits (BPI, OR CCB)

NO COST – Space is limited, register today! Priority registration provided for PCEF grantees and their trade partners.
