Accredited Green Appraisers


Accredited Green Appraisers (AGAs) have completed Earth Advantage's Accredited Green Appraiser (AGA) course series and received comprehensive training on the differences between code, green, energy efficient and solar PV homes in order to apply well-supported adjustments to appraisal assignments.

AGAs have learned the principles and practices that distinguish new and remodeled high performance homes from traditional code constructed homes, as well as must-know approaches to solar PV valuation. AGAs must maintain their designation by taking 4 hours of green training every 2 years, so lenders can rest assured AGAs have an in-depth understanding of the 5 pillars of green building and third party certification programs in order to competently analyze these properties in appraisal assignments. 
 


Accredited Green Appraisers need to successfully complete in-depth training and pass an accreditation exam in order to earn the Accredited Green Appraiser (AGA) designation. Once accredited, designated professionals will belong to the national network of Accredited Green Appraisers (AGAs) listed by state and region below.
