You’re an experienced building science specialist with great communication skills and an interest in educating other professionals about home performance, energy efficiency, and heat pump technology. As an organized, analytical, inquisitive, and collaborative individual, you’re excited by the idea of joining a nationally-recognized team responsible for ensuring that energy efficiency measures are designed and installed to provide the full range of cost, carbon, and comfort benefits.
You would like to further your career in the home performance industry by providing your technical expertise in a range of programs that include on-site inspections, remote home assessments, and contractor engagement, training, and consulting, both virtually and in-person. You have an exceptionally well-rounded understanding of “homes as a system” and are well-versed in heat pump and duct performance issues, including design and installation considerations. You are comfortable with some or all types of diagnostic testing, including: blower door testing, duct blaster testing, combustion appliance zone (CAZ) testing, heat pump commissioning, HVAC system airflow and static pressure testing, and IR imaging. You are eager to learn new skills that you may not currently possess or gain expertise in new energy modeling software systems that you may not be currently familiar with. You conduct yourself with the utmost care and professionalism in all interactions as a representative of Earth Advantage on behalf of various program administrators.
