Who We're Looking For

You are excited to apply your excellent communication, administration, and organizational skills - including task tracking and deadline management - in support of climate and housing programs. You are detail-oriented, self-directed, and well-organized, making you capable of supporting a diverse array of program tasks, including outreach, program administration, and database management. You are keen to use your understanding of program management tools and workflows to support programs that contribute to human, climate, and community resilience. You are motivated by the idea of joining a nationally-recognized team responsible for implementing Home Energy Score programs.

Note: This is a limited-duration, part-time position that will be active until the end of 2026 with the possibility of moving to a full-time permanent position.
 


Role Description

  • Home Energy Score Compliance/Help Desk
    • Undertakes compliance checks of online real estate listings to confirm Home Energy Score is available to public.
    • Develops weekly compliance and help desk reports.
    • Assists with questions about the Home Energy Score program over phone or email.
  • Home Energy Score Assessor Support
    • Responds promptly to assessor needs and inquiries, maintaining records for future reference.
    • Implements assessor recruitment and outreach. Provides logistical, and administrative support to Assessors.
    • Quality Assurance outreach evaluation, efficiency updates, and implementation.
    • Reviews and updates the Oregon Home Energy Score assessor webpage.
  • Reporting and Surveys
    • Supports team members by preparing documentation and compiling data for reports/invoicing.
    • Administer homeowner and assessor surveys, compiles data for analysis, and ensures feedback is suitable for program evaluation purposes.
  • Software System Support
    • Support Home Energy Score team members with identifying tests before and after software releases to confirm functionality.
    • Input updated utility cost and carbon rates into Earth Advantage's Green Building Registry (GBR).
  • Project Coordination
    • Provides administrative support for project management tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, submitting invoices, and tracking deadlines.
    • Tracks and organizes project-related communications to ensure team members are informed and aligned.
    • Maintains and organizes records/data in systems, ensuring accuracy and usability for project and department reporting/metrics.
       

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with project or program administration.
  • Ability to develop written materials, deliver presentations, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated competency using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools. 
  • Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for creative problem solving.
  • Ability to effectively collaborative with individuals and groups with diverse lived experiences, priorities, and levels of expertise.
  • Deep commitment to Earth Advantage’s mission.
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with programs or projects that focus on environmentally beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience with CRM database architecture and its capability to track customer activity.
  • Experience participating in public sector-funded projects.
  • Understanding of energy efficient equipment and basic building science principles.

Compensation

$27.09 - $33.65 hourly compensation.

This position is a limited-duration, part-time position with limited benefits at 28 hours per week for 6-months. Earth Advantage will prioritize making this a full-time, permanent position with full benefits at the end of the 6-month period. This determination will be based on an evaluation of program needs in month 4 of the 6-month term.

Note: This range represents the compensation opportunity within this specific Earth Advantage job class. Compensation for new hires generally falls in the low to mid point of the pay range.
