Join us for this two-part webinar series and learn water conservation tools and strategies that you can pass along to your clients!

Climate change in the Pacific NW increases the threat of long term drought in the summer, and it contributes to higher winter stormwater runoff and pollution. Climatologists predict that climate change will affect the Pacific NW with warmer and wetter winters resulting in less snowpack, along with longer, drier and hotter summer seasons.  Snowpack is the principal storage for continuous stream flows, essential for salmon health and the source of potable water supplies for most in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

The first webinar in this two-part series provides attendees with strategies to future-proof themselves and their clients from utility water shortages and rising water costs. Attendees will be able to:
  • Understand the impact of development on the hydrologic cycle
  • Identify 6 water wise strategies
  • Understand the role of certifications in water conservation
The second webinar in the series will examine the role and legality of greywater use via the home and landscaping. Attendees will be able to:
  • Define the term greywater
  • Identify the use for greywater indoors
  • List the ‘must-dos’ when using greywater for landscapes
