Making Savvy Energy & Solar Upgrades

Help your clients make savvy upgrade decisions in order to lower their cost of ownership, increase their resale value, and improve the comfort, durability and health of their home.  

Participants will learn what features and systems enable a home perform well, use less energy, and deliver superior comfort. You will also come away with tools to direct clients to the most cost effective upgrades with the greatest benefits. With a working knowledge of the incentives and programs that are available, you can empower clients to close on older homes with good energy upgrade potential.

• Examine common opportunities for home upgrades
• Learn which home performance programs and incentives are available and meet the needs of different homeowners
• Use the Energy Performance Score (EPS) to determine a home's operational costs, inform potential upgrades, drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
• Gain insight into the benefits of becoming a Real Estate Ally with Energy Trust of Oregon

This course has primarily been designed for Real Estate Professionals, but will also provide valuable information for Appraisers, Home Inspectors and Lenders.
