Now available for the Bay Area, California market!
Join us for two 2-hour webinars intended for professionals looking to increase their knowledge about Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) development in order to respond to increasing client demand for properties with ADU potential.
Increasing numbers of prospective home buyers and homeowners are interested in building an ADU on their property, and the growth of ADUs in California has been remarkable since 2017 due largely to state legislative changes and is likely only just the beginning (see city-by-city ADU permit trends in CA). Professionals trained on ADUs in these markets will be on the cutting edge of this emerging development trend and can help homeowners/developers understand site eligibility, development process and costs, and the return on investment of ADUs.
Promote your new ADU expertise and become an 'ADU Specialist'!
Attend this training and become eligible to earn the nationally-recognized 'ADU Specialist' accreditation in order to display your ADU expertise to the market. Join the network of over 450 accredited professionals across 15 states who have leveraged the designation to add valuable credibility to their business and tapped into this growing market with the backing of an organization that has trained and accredited thousands of professionals across the country on sustainable building practices.
Participants must attend one of our qualified trainings (this 'All About ADUs' class is one of them) and pass an accreditation exam. After passing the exam, Earth Advantage provides a registry listing, logo package, and marketing support for ADU Specialists to then promote their newly acquired designation via business cards, email signatures and website in order to differentiate themselves from other professionals.
'All About ADUs' participants who would like to pursue the 'ADU Specialist' designation can learn more about the exam here and opt in when registering below for this class. Note: 'ADU Specialist' is an optional designation and it is not required to attend the 'All About ADUs' course.

Carrie is dedicated to timeless architectural and design excellence rooted in a sense of place and purpose. She is a licensed architect and LEED AP, who received her master’s degree in architecture from UC Berkeley, where she met her business partner Josh Larson. Carrie’s fierce commitment to ADUs and aging in community began when she, herself, faced serious spinal problems. She realized, firsthand, that her home was fighting rather than supporting her. The wisdom gained from her 10-year battle for wellness and personal independence opened her eyes to the environmental needs of the disabled and elderly, and informs every Inspired ADU.
