Join us for two 2-hour webinars intended for real estate and building industry professionals looking to increase their knowledge about ADU development in the City of Seattle.

Participants will gain critical information to help them to respond to increasing client demand for properties with ADU potential, as well as the opportunity to earn the 'ADU Specialist' professional accreditation

Increasing numbers of prospective home buyers and homeowners are interested in building an ADU on their property. Professionals on the cutting edge of this emerging development trend can better serve their homeowner/developer clients by understanding site eligibility, development process and costs, and the return on investment of ADUs in their local area.

This course is intended to help industry professionals understand the basic planning and building regulations for ADU development in Seattle per land use and energy code updates and to provide insight into ADU regulations in the broader Seattle metro area.

Promote your new ADU expertise and become an 'ADU Specialist'!

Attend this training and become eligible to earn the nationally-recognized 'ADU Specialist' accreditation in order to display your ADU expertise to the market. Join the network of over 300 accredited professionals across 13 states who have leveraged the designation to add valuable credibility to their business and tapped into this growing market with the backing of an organization that has trained and accredited thousands of professionals across the country on sustainable building practices. 

Participants must attend one of our qualified trainings (this 'All About ADUs' class is one of them) and pass an accreditation exam. After passing the exam, Earth Advantage provides a registry listing, logo package, and marketing support for ADU Specialists to then promote their newly acquired designation via business cards, email signatures and website in order to differentiate themselves from other professionals.

'All About ADUs' participants who would like to pursue the 'ADU Specialist' designation will need to register for the exam separately (learn more and register here). Note: 'ADU Specialist' is an optional designation and it is not required to attend the 'All About ADUs' course.
