Join us for this four hour webinar intended for real estate and building industry professionals looking to increase their knowledge about ADU development in Southern Oregon.

Participants will gain critical information to help them to respond to increasing client demand for properties with ADU potential, as well as the opportunity to earn the 'ADU Specialist' professional accreditation

Increasing numbers of prospective home buyers and homeowners are interested in building an ADU on their property. Professionals on the cutting edge of this emerging development trend can better serve their homeowner/developer clients by understanding site eligibility, development process and costs, and the return on investment of ADUs in their local area.

This course is intended to help industry professionals understand the basic planning and building regulations for ADU development and provide some insight on ADU regulations in the broader Southern Oregon region.

Promote your new ADU expertise and become an 'ADU Specialist'!

Attend this training and become eligible to earn the nationally-recognized 'ADU Specialist' accreditation in order to display your ADU expertise to the market. Join the network of over 450 accredited professionals across 14 states who have leveraged the designation to add valuable credibility to their business and tapped into this growing market with the backing of an organization that has trained and accredited thousands of professionals across the country on sustainable building practices.

Participants must attend one of our qualified trainings (this 'All About ADUs' class is one of them) and pass an accreditation exam. After passing the exam, Earth Advantage provides a registry listing, logo package, and marketing support for ADU Specialists to then promote their newly acquired designation via business cards, email signatures and website in order to differentiate themselves from other professionals.

'All About ADUs' participants who would like to pursue the 'ADU Specialist' designation can learn more about the exam here and opt in when registering below for this class. Note: 'ADU Specialist' is an optional designation and it is not required to attend the 'All About ADUs' course.

Derek Sherrell
Derek Sherrell: Derek Sherrell is a real estate investor, ADU builder, and endurance athlete with over 25 years experience in the building/development trade. His first ADU build was a high school project in 1996. That led to a carpenter apprenticeship and a career as one of the youngest licensed building contractors in Oregon. Today, Derek consults with homeowners and investors on how to plan, design, finance, build and hold ADUs. This year, Derek founded and began an open-source video series designed to guide homeowners through the process of building or converting their own ADUs. He is a guest speaker for events large and small and has been featured on BiggerPockets, One Rentall At A Time, The Intelligent Investor and many other top REI platforms. As a pioneering ADU developer, builder, and investor, Derek brings one of the most comprehensive skill sets to any ADU discussion or instruction. He spends his days running, skiing, talking about ADUs with homeowners, policy makers, builders, and anyone else who will listen.
