With 35 years of combined construction experience, they will take on your high performance building questions and leave you with a better sense of how construction in the region is headed in the right direction.

Josh Salinger
Josh Salinger: Joshua Salinger is founder and principle of Birdsmouth Design-Build in Portland, OR. Birdsmouth is a residential Design-Build firm focused on addressing climate change through the built environment through zero energy new homes and deep energy retrofits. He is an instructor for both Earth Advantage’s Sustainable Homes Professional program and PHIUS’ Certified Passive House Builder training program. He sits on the board of Passive House Northwest and also sits on the technical committee of Zero Energy Ready Oregon. Additionally, he is an EEBA Zero Energy Home Professional, an ‘Expert Member’ on Green Building Advisor and contributes content to Fine Homebuilding magazine. Beth Campbell
Beth Campbell: Beth has been in the high performance and green building fields since 2004, when she got her start building strawbale homes with earthen plasters. Beth is a PHIUS certified Passive House Builder, and completed the Sustainable Homes Professional course through Earth Advantage. She is also a board member of Passive House Northwest, and an advocate for women in the building trades. She has been working as a project manager with Green Hammer since early 2018.
