The Senior Marketing & Communications Manager is a new position created to meet the evolving needs of a growing organization. You are deeply interested in leading communications activities that center on equitable, market-transforming solutions to climate disruption. You are a natural storyteller and deft communicator who can distill abundant information into crisp and compelling messaging, narratives, and visual marketing. You are both a strategic thinker with demonstrated excellence in developing communications plans and a highly organized manager comfortable with overseeing the delivery of digital and print-based content that supports organizational initiatives. You thrive on collaboration and have a sincere interest in broadening public awareness of the work the organization and your colleagues are doing.
Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience
Minimum of five years of experience in communications and marketing
Prior experience managing a direct report
Clear, engaging writing style with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
Previous experience creating strategic marketing communications plans
Demonstrated project management skills
Experience interacting with cross-functional teams of all levels
Excellent attention to detail and editorial oversight
Ability to manage multiple departmental efforts simultaneously and clearly assess priorities
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Ten+ years of experience in communications and marketing, including in a leadership role
Strong presentation skills, including with external stakeholders
Experience using email marketing tools such as Mailchimp
Experience using Google Analytics and Google Ads
$75,000 to $105,000 annual compensation, dependent on experience.
