As a result, we created the Carbon Advantage program, designed to help organizations, communities, businesses, builders and others, take advantage of strategic approaches to respond to climate change risks and opportunities.
Earth Advantage Institute’s mission is to create an immediate, practical and cost-effective path to sustainability and reduction of carbon. In addition to our building certification and education programs, we provide consulting services to assist your business, organization or community identify an effective approach to minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities associated with long term planning; organizational operations; and infrastructure, community and building design. Our team has expertise in sustainability planning and management systems, climate change risks and opportunities, greenhouse gas inventory management, commercial and residential building science, and effective energy efficiency programming.

Earth Advantage Institute is a founding reporter of the Climate Registry and participant in discussions of the Western Climate Initiative, working closely with peer organizations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Carbon Advantage group promotes a holistic approach to greenhouse gas reduction in the built environment through a number of innovative programs designed to minimize the carbon footprint associated with organizations, buildings, and other built infrastructure.
