Module 3 is available as an on-demand webinar (1-hr in duration, not including activities) provided by AGA course developer and instructor, Taylor Watkins. Valuation techniques from Modules 1 & 2 will be directly applied to appraisal case studies, providing tools that can be integrated into real world practice. Upon registering for the online webinar, participants will be automatically emailed instructions on how to access the online webinar and AGA accreditation exam.

Accreditation Exam

Participants must pass the exam in order to earn the designation of Accredited Green Appraiser. The exam is 50 multiple choice questions, and a grade of 70% is required to pass. Participants are allotted two opportunities to pass.

Taylor Watkins
Taylor Watkins: Taylor has been a certified residential appraiser in the Portland and Southwest Washington region for over 20 years. He owns one of Portland's first net-zero homes, the "Rose House." Taylor frequently serves as a consultant and expert around the country on green home valuation issues, including a study he conducted for Energy Trust of Oregon on the impact of photovoltaic panels on a home's appraised value. He created and instructs the Appraising Green Homes courses that comprise EA's Accredited Green Appraiser designation, as well as teaches the Earth Advantage Broker (formerly S.T.A.R. - Sustainability Training for Accredited Real Estate Professionals) course in Oregon, Washington, Alabama, and Virginia.
