Every 1 in 7 new homes in Medford receive an EPS® verifying their energy efficiency. Take this tour of two high performance homes and find out how they're built and what EPS means for homebuyers.
We will visit 1 under construction and 1 newly completed home (both have received EPS + Earth Advantage Platinum Certification) built by W L Moore. Each home is approx. 1200 sq. ft. and will have an energy cost of just $70/mo (incl. gas and electric)! There will also be an additional optional tour after 12 PM of a Multifamily building in the same development using ultra efficient HVAC and water heater technology.

John Spillman: John is a trainer and technical consultant with Earth Advantage. He teaches classes to energy auditors, builders, architects/designers, real estate professionals and building code officials. John has been promoting sustainable building and energy efficiency in both new and existing residential construction with Earth Advantage since 2009. John’s construction background is in residential remodeling. He is a LEED for Homes Quality Assurance Designee and Green Rater. John earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of California, Davis.
