Energy Perfomance (EP) Evaluator^TM software enables auditors in specific geographic areas -- where EPS Auditor software is not available¹ -- to conduct on-site energy assessments faster and provide customized, professional-looking reports and recommendations to homeowners within minutes. The tool is easy to use and requires fewer data inputs per site visit compared with other industry software (including HERS), while using templates to accelerate the real-time generation of home energy consumption and recommendation reports.  EP Evaluator is based on the same streamlined modeling engine as the popular EPS Auditor software, and produces the same professional looking reports.

About the Training

EP Evaluator Training consists of a 3-hour self-paced, online course. Course content directs auditors how to appropriately and effectively use the software, including why and how the software was developed, protocols involved in proper use, a tutorial on how to enter audit data, a sample audit, and tips on how to customize reports for individual customers. No pre-requisites, certifications or special skills are required. The course concludes with an exam that is for knowledge reinforcement only. The training does not result in a certification or designation for the trainee.
